Amgen is thrilled to be accepting submissions for the 2019 Amgen-LabCentral Golden Ticket competition!  As a platinum sponsor of LabCentral, Amgen is privileged to award two promising start-up companies with a year of free lab space (and more!) at the Cambridge-based life sciences launchpad.

Here’s what you can expect with an Amgen-LabCentral Golden Ticket in hand:

• One-year FREE lab space at LabCentral
• Access to the shared amenities and services provided at LabCentral
• Mentorship by experienced Amgen scientists—we let you lead, ask for advice in any aspect of your science, and we’ll provide insight and perspective
• Access to talent and expertise across Amgen network

Once submitted, your company’s proposal will be reviewed by an internal committee of Amgen scientists, and 6 finalist companies will be identified and notified mid-November.  We will invite the finalists to pitch to internal scientists and business development staff the first week of December at our Amgen site in Cambridge.  Finalists will then be invited to participate in Amgen’s public “Pitch It for a Golden Ticket” event on December 10th.

August 26 - October 11: Call for Proposals Open

November 15: Finalist Companies Notified

December 3: Finalists Pitch to Internal Amgen committee

December 10: “Pitch it for a Golden Ticket” Event with live announcement of winners!

• Relevant IP
• Upcoming key milestones (including financing)
• Commercialization strategy
• Management team
