Amgen is thrilled to accept submissions for the 2020 Amgen-LabCentral Golden Ticket competition! As a platinum sponsor of LabCentral, Amgen will award two promising start-up companies with a year of lab space, mentorship, and access to Amgen’s expertise across our network at the Cambridge-based life sciences launchpad.

An Amgen-LabCentral Golden Ticket in hand will:

• Cover the cost of one scientist and one 6-foot bench for one year at LabCentral
• Secure you access to the shared amenities and services provided at LabCentral
• Match you with experienced Amgen scientists for a year of mentorship—we’ll provide insight and expertise based on the advice you need to further your work
• Give you access to talent and expertise across Amgen’s global network

Amgen’s therapeutic focus includes cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, oncology, and inflammation. All companies with innovative advancements in these areas are encouraged to apply, as well as are those focused on making groundbreaking advancements in AI, data science, and manufacturing innovation.

Once submitted, your company’s proposal will be reviewed by an internal committee of Amgen scientists, and five finalists will be identified and notified in mid-November. Finalists will be invited to pitch their company to an expert panel of Amgen scientists and business development leaders virtually in early December. The 2020 awardees will be announced in mid-December.
