By popular demand, NFRA has revamped the Golden Penguin Awards! New categories that better reflect today's marketing practices, a streamlined online entry system and a redesigned award provide a whole new opportunity to be nationally recognized for excellence in merchandising and marketing frozen foods.
Retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, sales agents and local associations of any size (retail and military) can enter any category applicable to their business. Entries will be judged on their own merit taking into consideration organization size and/or program budget.
Marketing campaigns and merchandising events held in direct support of March Frozen Food Month, June Dairy Month or June/July Summer Favorites Ice Cream & Novelties 2017 including up to 30 days before and after the respective month.
Judging will be done by a panel of marketing professionals who will determine the category winners based on creativity, clarity and the effectiveness of each program/promotion entered. The Top Marketer Awards will be determined by the highest scoring entry in each of the Overall Marketing Campaign subcategories.
Winners will be honored at the NFRA Convention at the Orlando World Center Marriott, October 7-10, 2017 in Orlando, Florida. The Top Marketer Awards will be announced at the Networking Reception awards presentation on Monday, October 9.

A special group of awards recognizing the Best of the Best! The highest scoring entry in each of the Overall Marketing Campaign sub-categories will be named the Top Marketer. This group of winners will be announced during the 2017 NFRA Convention.
