Thanks to generous funders, the Foundation is proud to offer many different types of scholarships with awards up to $24,000—with only one application to complete. Highline Schools Foundation scholarships are open to all graduating seniors who are enrolled full-time in a Highline Public School. Most of the questions on this application are required (each question marked with a red ). Be prepared: Please review the 2020 Scholarship Application Overview page so you know what to expect .
Essays must be attached and submitted with your application. Essay question(s) can be found in the Scholarship FAQ's.
The following documents may be attached to your application now or sent to directly to Highline Schools Foundation c/o Scholarship Committee by the deadline. You only need to submit your paperwork one (1) time.
High School Transcript. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable. Transcripts attached to emails from your school office or counselor are acceptable. Pictures (photographs) of your transcript will not be accepted.
Letter of Recommendation. One (1) Letter of Recommendation from an adult (not a relative) who has had a significant role in interacting with you in your extracurricular, community service, or leadership activities. *** PHOTOGRAPHS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ***
SAT/ACT Scores. As more and more colleges go test optional, so have we. An SAT/ACT score is not required to apply for a HSF Scholarship.
Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on February 26, 2020. Applications will be reviewed and scored by a group of Highline Schools Foundation trustees. The top students will be invited to interview prior to the final selections being made. Interviews will happen on April 6 - 7, 2020 between 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Selected students will be contacted by email in late March to schedule interviews.
