Some of West Virginia's greatest challenges can become its greatest opportunities. The WV High School BPC’s goal is to work collaboratively to help move the state forward by engaging young minds to solve West Virginia’s greatest issues. The future of our state is at hand, and we are working to involve young talent from across the state to share their ideas.

Rules

Prize: (1) $10,000 scholarship to a participating WV institution

Eligibility

Open to all juniors and seniors in high schools and career and technical centers in the state of West Virginia.

Entry

Create a Team (1-3 members)

*Students may only submit one proposal per year.

The business idea proposal must be:

  • Submitted on the available template
  • Submitted electronically via Reviewr
  • Focused on improving West Virginia
  • First submission due by NOON on December 4, 2020

Important Dates: 

  • December 4, 2020                       Lean Canvas due by noon (on-line)
  • December 22, 2020                     Finalists notified
  • February 27, 2021                       Workshop – West Virginia University
  • April 6, 2021                                 Final Business Plans due by noon
  • April 13, 2021                               Final Competition – Charleston Convention Center
