Microsite 2021 Heroes in Action Nomination

Description

Ohio Heroes in Action Awards is an awards event and fundraiser that brings together the health care community to recognize nursing and health care excellence and achievements in research, education, quality patient care, innovation and leadership. Seventeen awards will be presented to the most outstanding nurse, physician and healthcare professional at a virtual awards presentation at 12 pm on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.

Healthcare professionals are first nominated by peers, nurse managers, supervisors or even the families they have impacted. Following, each nominee is asked to submit an application to be considered. Each application is carefully reviewed and scored three times by a committee of Chief Nursing Officers and other healthcare leaders from the health care community in the state of Ohio.

Rules

To be eligible, the nurse, physician or healthcare professional you intend to nominate must be in good standing with their respective State Boards and institution/employer.
